Thanks for coming over to find out more about me! I have been practicing as a therapist for over a decade, working as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I bring both a solid foundation and a lot of heart to this work. In addition to being a therapist, I spent six years teaching in the School of Social Work at UNC Charlotte, and have supervised many other social workers, guiding them towards completing their licensure. These additional areas allowed me to take deep dives into areas of specialization, sharpening my insight and strengthening my ability to communicate complex things in a way that actually makes sense. It reinforced what I love about being a therapist, showing up with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for people’s lived experience.
Part of staying grounded in my own life means making time for the things that fill me up - being in nature, connecting with my kids, and having adventures with my husband (planned or spontaneous, I’ll take either). These are the moments that remind me I’m human too, and they help me show up fully for the work I do.
At the end of the day, I’m just a real human sitting across from another real human. I believe there’s something powerful in that perspective - that it is the foundation of change in therapy.
Whether we’re digging into deep work or taking a breath between tough moments, I’m here to walk with you, not ahead of you. Therapy with me is about creating a space where you can be honest, feel safe, and maybe even surprise yourself. And if that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to meet you.
